Minato Sushi Restaurant

If you like good sushi you will like this place. It s not fancy in any way - but the fish is always cut right and the prices are reasonable. When I travel I use this place as my comparison. I have found only two places on earth that are 'as good' so far.

Had a birthday dinner here. The service staff have changed over (or at least a few new ones). The food is still perfect, so have a little patience with the new staff and you will enjoy.

Don't be fooled by its ordinary appearance: Minato Sushi an outstanding restaurant. The staff are friendly, the chefs are outstanding (and Japanese), the tea is great, and the food is very high quality. I have yet to find a sushi restaurant that does better BC rolls. I always head for Minato when I'm in the mood for sushi, but remember that on the weekends they open at a relatively late five o'clock. After that, the place is crowded until they close. That's a very good sign.
