WORST SERVICE EVER!!! My friend and I want for their $5 martini mondays and we'll NEVER return. Although we didn't have any food, we did have some martinis. At first we requested a few fruitish martinis but he didn't seem to have any ingredients nor a list. So we each went with a dirty martini; one gin with 5 olives and one vodka with the regular 3 olives. After waiting a good 5 minutes (there were 2 other people at the bar and 12 total in the entire place) for them, the bartender who was also the owner asked my friend to try hers and she asked for more olive juice. He then came with my martini which tasted like an ounce of vodka with about 2 ounces of water and no olive juice but he never came back with her request of a sidecar of olive juice. She went to go ask him for more and he said, word for word, "Listen these are $5 martini's. When you start asking for things like more olive juice, and 5 olives, it's just ridiculous". More olive juice, what? it's not like we were asking for more alcohol or even juice. What ever olive brine is left from the bucket gets thrown out, there isn't even any extra cost to him. He later came by to try and give her a sidecar but it was too late. She had already heard him making fun of her to other customers on the way to the bathroom. I may sound whiny but we've both worked in the restaurant industry for a number of years and I've never seen an owner act like this especially when it's a new place. Humphrey's on Bank is garbage...don't go EVER!!!

This place is a joke. Everything was done half-@ss! The service is horrible, their is no attention to detail and the food is sub-par. Please, if you are going to open a restaurant have some imagination.

Service was poor. The Waitress made 2 mistakes w/ put meals and had to have them sent back. The beef kabob tasted awful. 3 people tried and agreed it was a little too "funky" to be good. The Atmosphere is nice, the Live Music great and Humphrey is very personable. Pay more attention to the service and this might be a great new hot spot for the glebe.
food was awesome and they even gave my dog a water bowl. two paws up

great live music mostly everytime we've been there... service has improved since we first went there in April. Love the food, a nice break from the regular burger and fries joint. WELL DONE
The service stinks! They need to train their staff or fire them and get more competant staff. We sat on the Patio (which was far from being jamm-packed busy) for 10 minutes before being served. Then waited another 10 minutes to be told they didn't serve pitchers. ANother 10 to get our pints. Then once the waitress took the bill away with my friend's credit card, another 10 minutes before she came and verified if we'd like any "change". He requested his credit card and the thig to sign to which she replied "Oh, I didn't even look". I'd be willing to go there again to see if this was an anomaly and we didn't try the food (just had a beer). The convenient location is all that keeps me from saying "I'm never going there again".
