I had a pleasant experience with this place. I went in there nervous because I wanted a huge change to my hair, but Arran made me feel comfortable and did a great job. She also said bangs are complementary, and that if I wanted a change within two weeks, to feel free to come by again.

Went for the first time today. I had long hair for about 8 years and decided to get it cut. That is a big frightening deal . However, Arran set my mind at ease. It is the best thing I could have done. I LOVE it!!! The place is cool as are all the staff. I recommend this hair salon. Have some fun and come out feeling good about yourself.
The hair dresser did not listen to me. I told her what I wanted and she told me that "no one does that anymore". Then she cut & coloured my hair shorter and darker than we discussed, because she thought it would be better. The cut is impossible to style. The prices are ridiculous, over $200 (before tax) for colour and cut. That is more than a lot of the spas downtown. The environment is VERY loud, music blaring and people yelling. Could not have an actual conversation with my hairdresser as we could not hear each other half the time. Not a releaxing and pleasant environment at all.
never seen anything in ottawa like this before!! if you haven't already seen it, take a walk in the glebe and check it out! + always walking out with fabulous hair!
For the year that I've been going to Studio B, never have been disappointed by what they've done with my hair, the girls are all full of great ideas! Previous salons i've been too make you feel small, the average client, at studio B every client is an important client, it's always a hair party for the two hours i'm there! Check it out, I know you wont be disappointed!
Studio B was great! I had just moved to Ottawa and a friend had recommended the place to me. It's not to the cheapest in the world and the prices are going up in September but if it's a good cut it's worth it and so far I've only had good cuts. They seem to be always quite busy but the girls at Studio B are down to earth and love to chat! They always offer tea or coffee and try to get you in as quick as possible, although I will admit there were a few times I waited 30 minutes after my scheduled appt. time. My cuts have always been exactly what I have asked for and the girls are full of recommendations that fit your hair color and face shape. I'd totally recommend this place!!

I never had the chance to get my hair cut by them because they are not competent enough to give proper directions and did not have time to guess where they were located.
