For several years we have gone to Moxie's for Mother's Day Brunch - this year I must say I was disappointed - the food was o.k. however other years the mother's received a potted plant - this year they were given a gift certificate for a dessert, many people don't even eat dessert (in these days of health conscious eating) so you were really giving nothing. except an opportunity to spend more money at your establishment. An absolute insult - I would have much rather just had the brunch and forget the attempt to make it look like you were actually honouring the Mothers with a gift. Next year we will think twice about where we celebrate Mother's Day.
