June 9/09-A celebration for our daughter who spent all day (7 hours) writing a demanding exam. We arrived shortly after 20:00 hrs and, we were seated downstairs in a booth a very pleasant and good area. Our waiter brought us cocktails and an appetizer, he fully explained the contents of the menu and along with his personal preferences, a great friendly presentation. However, this is where it stopped, after waiting almost 30 minutdes, our three main dishes were served. I ordered a steak oscar and, after taking one bite, I realized that my food was luke warm, the same applied to my baked potato and 3 so called prawns. The prawns were the size of a medium shrimp, they were served on a wood skewer but you could not get them off as they were cold and by this time dry. Our waiter never returned until were all done when I asked fjor the bill of fare. He said: when the credit card slip is completed, kindly put it on the small table and I will pick it up later. This would indicate that he was out of his restaurant section when he proceeded upstairs.
Other waiters were in our area but our server was never around or seen, I did not complained in the restaurant because I did not want to spoil the evening for our daughter. I can just imagine how delicious that steak would have been if served hot. I am certain that my plate sat there on the kitchen counter more than 20 minutes waiting for the other food for our table.
A pleasant evening for my wife and daughter but certainly not for myself.
