The service stinks! They need to train their staff or fire them and get more competant staff. We sat on the Patio (which was far from being jamm-packed busy) for 10 minutes before being served. Then waited another 10 minutes to be told they didn't serve pitchers. ANother 10 to get our pints. Then once the waitress took the bill away with my friend's credit card, another 10 minutes before she came and verified if we'd like any "change". He requested his credit card and the thig to sign to which she replied "Oh, I didn't even look". I'd be willing to go there again to see if this was an anomaly and we didn't try the food (just had a beer). The convenient location is all that keeps me from saying "I'm never going there again".
I've been going to this place since high school (sadly, more than 10 years ago) and it still rocks. Whether it's for egss after hitting the clubs, breakfast all day, or a bite for dinner, the service is always quick, courteous, and awe-inspiringly efficient. The only complaint I have is that some of the staff seem to think their status as "employees of the ESD" makes them the equivalant of rock stars. This is a petty complaint, however, as the service is (as I said) too quick and courteous to really complain about the staff. I reccomend the great poutine, great club sandwiches, and the milkshakes.
Overall, I like Patty's Pub. The food is good, the beer is cold, and it's got a fun atmosphere. The service isn't terrible, but some of the staff can be pretty gruff. Also, if you sit on the side opposite where the bar is, sometimes the waitresses will rarely visit you (which is a pain when you want another pitcher or your bill). ALl in all, I've enjoyed myself there. I reccomend the Boxty, the Bash, the chicken wings, and the Bag O' Fries.

This place has a great layout, lots of room for everything. Great staff. Good deals on Games Workshop stuff.

It's got a real young crowd and a "CHuck E. Chees" feel to it. Not for a self respecting thirtysomething.

Great place, but always packed (due to being so small). If you can gte a seat, I recommend it.

I concur, the Mexi Burger is fantastic. It seems to be the only thing I ever order (other than beer).
