I ordered the Louisiana BBQ chicken for lunch and expected a spicy exciting piece of chicken but instead a plate with a slab of drab tasteless chicken accompanied by a mountain of fries and nothing else was placed in front of me. There was nine of us and most everyone either complained of a giant baked potatoe holding down the plate without any other vegatable or garnish or a huge fluff of lettuce filling the plate. Even my garden salad had no tomato and the Italian dressing I requisted was something else. The waiter did a fine job and I gave him a nice tip but the kitchen doesn't live up to the standards you advertise. We were totally not impressed.

It looks like it should be a Laundry Mat, in fact I bet at one time it was. This place has some of the tastiest asian food. It is a great place to bring a few friends. Round tables and a lazy suzan in the middle so everyone can share the food.

20 minutes for food but it is well worth the wait. Best hamburgers I have had. Excellent variety. 3 words. Onion Ring Pyramid

Few years ago I went to Elgin Dinner to have lunch and I would never ever go back there. I ordered grill chicken with steamed veggies the waiter brought me left over from the night before. I am a cook myself and I know a lot about cooking, how did I find out it was left over? There was mashed potato covered on the chicken breast and the cook just heat it up on the grill and burned the mashed potato, so when I asked the waiter he answered me no it is not left over and he just said okay no problem and took the food away. I was so shocked he did not apologized or suggested to bring me fresh one I was so disgusted and disappointed since then I never gone there or suggested anyone to go there.

I think it's a great little spot. get there once every couple of weeks, and have always had good food and good service. they have a new website now to, which can be handy pattyspub.ca
