One of the best coffee shops on the East Bank. Rather than a thermos they use an old fashioned cafeteria-style stainless steel refrigerated milk dispenser for the half and half. The menu includes bakery stuff, soup, sandwiches, salads and other veggie options. The staff is very friendly and efficient
Things to know:
- Specify 'here' or 'to go' when you order because they will give you a plate with your cookie.
- There is a small additional charge for using a credit card so stop for cash.
- They have a no outside food or drink policy that is enforced.
This place used to be pretty decent. That atmosphere is janky but there were these 2 girls in there working all the time that brought some spice to place, where did they go???? Now it just sucks and everyone's rude.
The results from these guys are amazing. Restored my data, removed some nasty virus stuff and recommended some great free software.
They explain themselves well and the price is very reasonable (and a better deal given the amazing service)!
i would definitely shop here again. Their used books are in great condition and are cheaper then most stores around dinkytown. they also buy back most books that the u of m book store wouldnt take.
"TERRIBLE!!! NEVER BUY ONLINE FROM THEM!!! My boyfriend ordered some snowboard boots for me for Christmas, and 12 DAYS later they show up and they are MEN'S BOOTS, when their website not only had them listed under the women's section but also described a women's boot in the description details! I mean, I worked in a skate shop so I know how high these space cases must be but DAMN...In fact, the description's still currently on there, check it out at http://www.cal-surf.com/product_detail.cfm?CatID=251&PID=7540 and have a laugh for me since I'm too heated right now. And to put a cherry on the $#!t sundae, their manager was a grade-A A$$wad on the phone, giving me attitude because I mistakenly said it took 15 days to ship when it was really 12...oh snap, John, guess you told me! At least I'm getting my money back, but I'm out my Christmas present plus I'm forced to stomp around all season in my broken Rides again. Bottom line: GO ELSEWHERE."
