Burrito Loco Bar and Grill - U of M Campus
Loco’s burritos are heavy (about 1 kilo), they are wrapped in tinfoil, they come with a free side of nacho chips and salsa, and they are carefully packed with a couple of napkins in a brown paper sandwich bag. As for ingredients, they contain fresh guacamole, sour, cream and lettuce, and meat that is grilled.
It is surprising how many other local restaurants fail at this simple tried and true method--coming up with bizarre, or even disgusting variations on this theme--the worst probably being a “Mexican” restaurant in Minneapolis that filed their burrito with the same pre-cut vegetables found in most frozen tv dinners.
Thankfully, I have never found frozen vegetables or “mystery meat” in any Burrito Loco Burrito. And to top it off, they even offer free delivery.
