Kavarna is a classic, artsy coffee house that comes complete with hardwood floors, large storefront windows looking out over Broadway, a pressed-tin ceiling, and a rickety shelf piled with board games of all types. The cozy little nook serves up Alterra coffees, steamers, and espressos in REAL coffee mugs, not those paper cups you find in chains. In addition to hot beverages, they do an excellent lunch business. On Friday nights, Kavarna also features live music, usually an acoustic act.
